THE BRIEF

Imagine Cinemas faced a universal challenge: the erosion of the theatrical experience. Distractions had become a constant friction point for audiences. Traditional signage and standard disclaimers had failed to change the culture of the room.

The goal was to create a definitive in-theatre piece that would not only capture attention but command it, elevating the atmosphere of the silver screen before the first frame of the feature began.

THE VISION

The approach was to confront disruptive behavior without alienating the audience. By shifting the perspective from "instructional" to "cinematic comedy," I developed two exaggerated characters, a pair of lovable troublemakers, that transformed common grievances into a narrative experience.

The result is a custom pre-show film that fuses high-end production and VFX with a humorous, universal narrative. Crafted to educate through entertainment, the film serves as a stylized reminder of the sanctity of the cinema, tailored to resonate with audiences of all ages.

THE IMPACT

Upon its release, the atmosphere across national screenings shifted immediately. By humorously spotlighting disruptive behavior on the big screen, the film fostered a more mindful audience, drastically reducing complaints and enhancing the collective experience.

The film has since become a fan favorite and a permanent staple of the Imagine Cinemas pre-show ritual. It stands as a testament to the power of cinematic storytelling, proving that even a behavioral prompt can become a cultural moment when executed with style, wit, and precision.
