PLOT SYNOPSIS

Discouraged and falling behind on their dreams, three musicians fall into a restless sleep. Their cries for a second chance echo through the void and a mysterious Rock Wizard answers the call. With a blast of magical energy, he pulls them into a dream realm of music and myth.

What follows is a whimsical odyssey through a mystical forest where each bandmate faces a unique trial. The guitarist must master delicate solos spun across spiderweb strings while the drummer crafts rhythm from boulders and earth. Under the guidance of the wizard, they reclaim their passion and power to realize that dreams do not wait for perfect timing.

DIRECTOR’S VISION

With total creative freedom, the goal was to develop a rock ‘n’ roll mythology centered on persistence and the magic of music. Drawing inspiration from "Lord of the Rings" and "Tenacious D," this genre-bending film tells a fantastical tale through a lighthearted and self-aware lens.

Marcello Morle stars as our charismatic wizard, clad in a custom-designed outfit by the talented Rachel Fitzgerald — whose sketches leapt off the page and into reality. She also hand-crafted the band’s magical props: a transparent microphone, movable boulders, fantasy training gear, and an intricate spiderweb guitar rig. Fog machines, handheld lights, and practical effects brought our dreamlike sets to life. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Andrew Seguin and Angelo Morle, who kept the production moving smoothly.

Thanks to our producer, Michael J. Krym, we filmed across a variety of real-world locations — a dense forest, a local theatre, a moody bar, and more. All transformed into surreal fantasy realms. We set out to honor the epic adventure genre while keeping it lighthearted and self-aware. That meant cloaks, LEDs, enchanted campfires, and smoke-filled trails. The band’s performance unfolds on a shadowy stage, playing in pajamas to a crowd they can’t see — because dreams don’t wait for perfect timing. They call you mid-chaos.

Every detail mattered. Nearly every shot features visual effects: magical ripples, glowing particles, and bursts of vibrant color designed to elevate the band’s transformation.

The band gave it their all. Whether running through the woods, banging on a cold garage floor, air-guitaring while asleep, or eating too much warm ice cream, they carried the absurdity with sincerity — and that’s what makes it work. It’s ridiculous, but it means it.

Together, the entire team poured everything we had into this project.
